Women's Ministry

Everything our ministry does is because of our love for God, His Word, and His people. We long to see women grow in their relationship with Jesus, learning to depend upon Him in their daily lives, and to discover the joy found in ministry to others.

Bible Studies

Studies are offered to encourage women in their walk with God, challenging them to not only know God’s Word but to be “doers” of His Word. Though on occasion we have met in a large group setting, it is within small groups that community is established as we study God’s Word, share, and pray for each other.

Currently we have three weekly Bible studies available that meet in people's homes.

  • Mondays, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Tuesdays, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m
  • Thursdays, 10:00 to noon

To get plugged in to a Bible study, please contact women@ccfww.org.

A time for moms to encourage each other with God's Word as they share the journey of motherhood together by seeking God's wisdom, supporting each other through prayer, shared resources, and laughter.

All moms with children from birth to age 5 are invited to come on the third Friday of each month from 10:30 to noon.  Moms and children meet separately in gym classrooms.

Fall Retreats

Once a year, during the first weekend of October, we get away from the busyness of life to enjoy Biblical teaching, quiet personal reflection, and relaxation with each other.

Our 2018 retreat was held at Bar M Ranch, just outside Pendleton, OR, which is nestled in a scenic valley of the Blue Mountains.

We have a great group of ladies that know about following Jesus, loving and supporting each other, and just plain having fun. We gather for:

  • Small group coffees:   In home coffees for women new to CCF; introducing them to other women members.
  • Fun events:  Informal events to just share some fun and laughter together.
  • Day events: Periodic day events with Christ-centered teaching and fellowship.

The motivation, from 1 Peter 4:10–11 (NLT): “God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. . . Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.”

Some of the ways you can do this:

  • Events: Plan and/or organize, set up the facility, provide music, decorate the venue, advertise, and much more.
  • Hospitality: Plan and/or host a small group coffee for women new to CCF, introducing them to other women members.
  • Christian Aid Center: To be God’s light and salt within the community to women at the center.
