Our staff

  • Matt Dotson—Pastor

    Email Matt: Matt@ccfww.org

    Call Matt: 509-540-8368

Matt became pastor of CCF in April 2010 when he and his family moved to Walla Walla from Escondido, CA.

He and Christine were married in June of 2001 and have two children—John and Ruthie! Matt was ordained in January of 2002 through the ministry of Calvary Chapel of Escondido (Now Cross Connection Escondido).

Matt enjoys teaching the Bible verse by verse and his favorite book is Genesis. You can listen to his recent messages here

In addition to teaching, he plays the guitar and writes worship songs. Most of all, Matt loves Jesus, Christine, John & Ruthie.

Lastly, Matt could use your prayers. For his adult life, he has increasingly suffered from fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. Although it is a thorn in the flesh, God has used it to continue to refine his faith in Christ.

He considers it an amazing act of grace that he gets to be a part of the fellowship at CCF and an honor to pastor and teach God's precious word!

  • Arthur Diener—Student MInistry Pastor

    Email Arthur: arthur@ccfww.org

    Call Arthur: 253-394-2988

Arthur is truly an answer to prayer, as he joined the staff at CCF in the summer of 2017 as the church prayerfully sought a leader to help shepherd the growing youth ministry.

He is 30 years old, married to his wife, Sarah, and has been called to serve the church as a minister of the gospel of Christ. While he and his wife are total opposites, God has knit them tightly together over the past several years of marriage, blessing them with two amazing kids: Judah (3 years old and crazy about books and animals) and Clara (2 years of dresses, owls, and expressiveness).

Arthur and Sarah met when he got a summer medic job at a Christian camp for kids. Her work ethic, bright nature, and love for Jesus were all it took to win his heart! They enjoy growing things, music, good food, laughing with the kids, and encouraging other parents as they all try to glorify Him more each day.

His call to ministry was not his idea, but God's. He pulled Arthur out of camp and into full-time ministry, showing him that is where he truly belongs. He is called and compelled to teach students of all ages that there is eternal hope in the saving grace of our God, and to train them to reach others.

  • Carol Everett—Women's MInistry Director

    Email Carol: women@ccfww.org

    Call Carol: 509-525-0895

Carol has been a longtime member since the 1980s. God has blessed her with two wonderful daughters and five grandchildren. After 30 years in the business world, Carol retired at the end of 2013 and began serving as the bookkeeper for the church. Then, in the fall of 2014, God began moving her back toward ministry to women inside and outside of CCF.

She enjoys spending time with family and connecting with women. In fact, you can often catch her hanging out in a local coffee shop with a sister in Christ. But most of all, Carol loves Jesus and God's Word.

  • Marcus Corder—Communication Director

    email Marcus: info@ccfww.org

    Call Marcus: 541-203-2900

Marcus is a father of four young children with his wife, Anna—their little ones can often be seen dancing during worship music or standing with him during Sunday announcements. Marcus spent several years working in marketing and communications, and as his faith increased God made it clear that his career had been preparation for serving Him. Marcus joined the staff to handle communications in 2016.

But God wasn't finished; in 2017 the church sought a facilities and maintenance leader, and once again life experience—fixing up old homes—had unexpectedly prepared Marcus to serve the Lord.

In addition to communication and facilities at CCF, Marcus also teaches at the Christian Aid Center and still does some freelance editorial work when he's not tinkering on his house or motor scooter. Mostly, he's seeking to better understand God's calling for him and to love his family.

Elders

At CCF, the congregation has the responsibility of affirming existing elders and/or selecting new elders, charged with the responsibility of providing leadership and shepherding care for the body.

Read more about the responsibilities and qualifications for the elders in our elder affirmation document.
